  • Marle Hall photographs and writings - sharing drop in.

    Fri 29 Mar 2019
The children who went to Marle Hall have been engaged in writing tasks about their experiences. They would like to share these and their photographs with parents. To this end, we would like to offer you the opportunity to drop in to school to see their work. Children can come out of their class to accompany you if this is during the school time. The work will be available to view on Friday from 2:30pm. The work will be on display until 4:30pm. For parents attending the Easter assembly, we are hoping to make the work available to see after that, on the Friday morning.

  • Mathletics

    Tue 26 Mar 2019

Following a trial in Year 2 and Year 6, and the extremely positive feedback from parents in those year groups (many thanks for your time) we have adopted Mathletics as our home learning for maths from Year 1 to Year 6.

Each exercise takes approximately 10 minutes so class teachers will set 2-3 sections to be completed per week. Then the children can hone their skills while playing the fun, interactive games on Mathletics

  • Bus Safety

    Tue 26 Mar 2019

We have had reports of some children removing their belts on their bus journeys to and from school today – clearly this is an extremely dangerous thing to do and I have spoken to children about this.

It is also very unfair on the driver and the passenger assistant who are trying to ensure a safe journey for your children.

Please would you also speak to your children about the importance of this.

The coach company do have the right to refuse to take your children if they do not conform with the rules or behave in an unsafe or distracting manner. Thank you.
