  • Holiday Reading Challenge

    Thu 21 Jul 2016

Any child who reads a book (independently or with an adult) from their current or next year group’s recommended reading list, will be awarded 10 house points to start the new academic year (as well as having read and enjoyed a fantastic book!)

In Key Stage 1 children should then draw their favourite character from the book and describe them briefly in sentences and in Key Stage 2 children should write a short synopsis of the storyline and which part they liked best and why.  All of the pieces of work should be sent into Mrs. Moll after the holiday and they will be displayed in the school library.

The lists are available for each year group on http://schoolreadinglist.co.uk/

Good luck and happy holiday reading.

  • Who Did It? Who Done It?...

    Thu 14 Jul 2016

…Don’t point the finger at me! Let’s point it at our amazing Year 5 and

Year 6 performers who acted and sang their hearts out on Tuesday

and Wednesday evenings during ‘The Mystery of Magpie Manor’.

It was such an accomplished and fabulously entertaining performance in what was an excellent show in every respect – the comments from the audience were such as, “I haven’t seen such a great show at Primary School before – absolutely brilliant!!”

An enormous well done to each and every one of you – you should all feel very, very proud of yourselves.

  • Parent Questionnaire

    Thu 07 Jul 2016

Our annual Parent Questionnaire is now available to complete online using the following web address http://goo.gl/15HHN6  or by following the link on the school website in the Parents’ Section. It is very helpful if you could complete it, as it helps us see what we are doing well, as well as providing us with information which allows us to consider how we can improve

further. The link will be open till Friday 15th July.
