Welcome to The Dassett,

Welcome to The Dassett C of E Primary School website and to our wonderful, happy and vibrant school. The whole  team here share in the vision for the school - to provide the best Primary School experience for all of our pupils.

Our REACH values are held dear to all of us and help our pupils to develop into well-rounded, successful students ready to take on the next stage of their education. 

The staff here are hardworking, dedicated and incredibly keen to do whatever they can to provide the most stimulating education for the pupils. The pupils, in particular, are a delight to be around. They  greet me in the morning full of smiles and eagerness. They skip into school and are always keen to share their thoughts, feelings and ideas. Every adult that visits The Dassett comments positively on how wonderful the atmosphere is; how receptive the children are and how friendly and approachable the staff are.

At The Dassett we aim to create an exciting, safe and happy learning environment for the pupils and staff to grow in. We  encourage positive behaviours that help us to do our best and allow us, in return, to help others to do their best.

At The Dassett, we welcome all visitors to our school and we value parents and their input. Parents are, after all, the primary educators of their children. In light of this, we ask all members of The Dassett community to share in our aims.

We aim to provide a secure learning environment for all; one which fosters respect for each other and our environment. We ensure that everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of gender, age or beliefs. We prepare pupils for the next stage of their education and for life as responsible, confident and knowledgeable young people. We work hard to maximise the potential of all learners.
