Miss Williams Reception Science, Music and Student Mentor
This is my seventh year at the Dassett, I have previously worked in years 1,3 and 4. This year I am really excited about teaching Reception and starting our newest children on their school journeys. My favourite subject is science and I love seeing children develop their curiosity about the world around them. Outside of school, I like to read, travel and spend time with my friends. I also play the flute and piano in my spare time.
Mrs Norris Year 1
We are delighted to have Mrs Norris on board in Year 1 this year. She is enjoying being a 'more permanent' member of staff and she is managing the transition of those year 1 children from Reception, brilliantly.
Mrs Saunders Year 2 RE and Eco Committee
Mrs Saunders is an experienced teacher who is enjoying the change from Key Stage 2 to 1.
Ms. Samantha Moll Year 3 Assessment & Standards Leader, Literacy, Designated Safeguarding Lead - SLT, MFL
I have worked in Years 1-6 at the Dassett, initially as a teaching assistant and now as a teacher for over 10 years. I have two children, a cockapoo called Sidney and a cat called Toby. In my spare time I like visiting the theatre, reading and travelling.
Mrs. Samantha Parkes Year 4 SENCO/Intervention Leader, NQT Mentor, First Aider,
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, SLT, Art and DT
During my time at The Dassett I have taught Years 1-5 at various times. I have enjoyed the uniqueness of each class and seeing how children's learning develops during their time with us. I feel really lucky to work at such a wonderful school. In my free time I enjoy playing and listening to music, reading and ringing the bells at Burton Dassett church.
Mrs Natalie Collen Year 5 PE Curriculum and Inter-School Competition, PSHE
I particularly enjoy teaching English, as children glue together the rules that we cover through exciting topics and produce work they can be proud of.
P.E is a subject I also enjoy, as keeping fit and healthy makes us all feel great and we can have lots of fun building on our skills along the way.
In my spare time, I love nothing more than taking my scruffy little dog, Molly, for a brisk walk across the fields and spending quality time with family and friends.
Mrs. Beth Hanna Year 6, Maths, ICT
This will be my fifth year at The Dassett and my fourth in Year 6. I look forward to helping the children prepare for secondary school. It is a very busy year with lots of exciting challenges for the children. Outside of school I love being in the great outdoors - climbing and hiking are particular favourites, as well as walking my dogs and swimming with my daughter.
