Our Teaching Staff
Miss Williams Reception Science, Music and Student Mentor
This is my seventh year at the Dassett, I have previously worked in years 1,3 and 4. This year I am really excited about teaching Reception and starting our newest children on their school journeys. My favourite subject is science and I love seeing children develop their curiosity about the world around them. Outside of school, I like to read, travel and spend time with my friends. I also play the flute and piano in my spare time.
Mrs Parkes Year 1/2 SENCO, Intervention Lead, NQT Mentor, First Aider, Designated Safeguarding Lead, SLT, Art and DT
During my time at the Dassett I have taught years 1 -5 at various times. Ihave enjoyed the uniqueness of each class and seeing how each child's learning develops over time with us. I feel lucky to work at such a wonderful school. In my free time I like playing and listening to music and ringing the bells at Burton Dassett Church.
Ms. Samantha Moll Year 3 Assessment & Standards Leader, Literacy, Designated Safeguarding Lead - SLT, MFL
I have worked in Years 1-6 at the Dassett, initially as a teaching assistant and now as a teacher for over 10 years. I have two children, a cockapoo called Sidney and a cat called Toby. In my spare time I like visiting the theatre, reading and travelling.
Mrs Norris Year 4
Mrs Norris is our Year 4 teacher. She has supported the school in different teaching roles, largely as a temporary teacher. She loves everything outdoors and is a fully qualified Forest School teacher.
Mrs. Beth Hanna Year 5/6, Maths, ICT
This will be my sixth year at The Dassett and my fifth in Year 6. I look forward to helping the children prepare for secondary school. It is a very busy year with lots of exciting challenges for the children. Outside of school I love being in the great outdoors - climbing and hiking are particular favourites, as well as walking my dogs and swimming with my daughter.
