‘Wow, what a wonderful day of dance on Monday the 15th of May, with the wonderful pupils of Dassett C of E Primary School. Kate Taylor, Director Centre-Point led a full day, entitled ‘OK’ linked with mental health awareness week, which looked at themes including confidence, resilience, friendship and differences, and simply celebrating just how amazing each and every child is. The style of dance was Contemporary. Each pupil took on direction like a true professional, with roughly 30 minutes with each year group. They were like sponges, soaking up every instruction creating their own beautiful choreography too. The day concluded in a whole school performance outside, celebrating everyone’s work. I was blown away by their focus and performance skills, and not at all phased by an audience!
