• New Uniform Orders

  Sew Sublime have asked us to let you know that the cut-off date for guaranteed delivery before the new term in September is 14^th August. If anyone comes in after 14^th August they will still be able to take any stock we have and will still place an order for them and do their best to get them kitted out by the beginning of term but cannot offer any guarantees. Don’t forget they are happy to swap any garments for a larger size should your child grow over the holidays, as long as they have not been washed, worn or labelled. Don’t forget, if you order on line they get free name labels to iron into the garments purchased!

  What an afternoon! The sun shone and the crowds came. It was hot and the children raced down the track in the sprint finals. The round robin of events was very popular and children aimed, jumped, balanced and raced using a variety of equipment including quoits and beanbags. There was a lot of fun and laughter and everyone was very supportive of each other in true Dassett style. The overall winning house of the day was Neptune but every house had enormous numbers of house points as a result of the afternoon. Thank you to everyone for joining us, to Mrs Brice and the Year 6 pupils for their organisation and the Friends for their very welcome ice creams and ice pops.

• Annual Reports

  You will receive tomorrow your child’s Annual Report – we hope you find them helpful and informative. The teachers have worked extremely hard on this NEW report format – please remember that the system of grading is totally different from before in Years 1,3,4,5 and so does not compare with previous judgements. Our Year 2 and Year 6 parents will also have received their child’s SAT scores in their report and our Year 1 children will have received their Phonics Screening Judgement. Please complete the reply slip and return to school on Monday 13^th July – we really appreciate your feedback.
