Ten Keys to Happiness
Hi everyone. As you probably remember, we introduced Ten Keys to Happiness in the Autumn term. The theme for Autumn was giving and we did a lot of work to talk about giving to charities. We raised money The British Legion, Save the Children, The Children's Society and Children in Need. We also donated a huge haul of food to the local Food Bank at Harvest time. We also talked about how giving can be about helping others, giving someone your care, attention and friendship.
You did a brilliant job in Autumn and I was looking forward to really getting to grips with the next key to Happiness this term - Relating. ironically, we are not able to do a great deal of relating to each other in person right now but you are all doing an amazing job in remote lessons and you are staying in touch with your friends - which is great.
We have had extra exercise since we have been back at school this term and I hope that you are all keeping fit and well.
This month we are thinking about Mindfulness. Look at our assembly here for ideas of how to be more mindful.

February is Exercising.
Our body and our mind are connected. Being active makes us happier as well as being good for our physical health. It instantly improves our mood and can even lift us out of a depression. We don't all need to run marathons - there are simple things we can all do to be more active each day. And we can also boost our well-being by unplugging from technology, getting outside and - importantly - making sure we get enough sleep!
How do you like to KEEP ACTIVE?
