Reporting Absence
As there have been lots of viruses around at the moment I thought it may be helpful to remind you of the procedure for letting us know about your child’s absence. Please phone the school prior to 9am to inform us of your child’s absence. This needs to be done on every day of their absence unless it is a medical procedure that we have received written information about in advance. Also please remember to check on the website regarding the period of absence required for different illnesses. Also, if your child is sent home poorly from school after 10.30am and they have ordered a cooked school lunch, this will not be able to be refunded as it will already have been included in the quantities prepared. Similarly, if you know your child is going to be late due to a medical appointment and would like a cooked lunch, please let us know their choice by 9.30am.
