Our Big Birdwatch
Anne Fisher, from the RSPB, presented an assembly to the whole school on Tuesday about the importance of the Birdwatch and how some species are vanishing from our countryside.
She then did a birdwatch with some pupils from each year group (although the birds were not out in their multitudes due to the weather!) and worked with Year 3 to think about different habitats for the birds.
We thank Anne for giving up her time and sharing her expertise and enthusiasm with the children. It was greatly appreciated and a real inspiration for the children.
