Cluster Football Tournament Finalists

Congratulations to our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils who made up our squad for the Cluster Football Tournament held on 26th April at the playing fields in Fenny Compton. They played superbly and worked well as a team, despite it being freezing cold and ranging between bright sunshine with a bitter wind and snow! They won 2 and lost 2  in the heats to then take part in the match for 2nd and 3rd place - the decider to see who would be in the final. We won that on Penalties (with a great save from Jack and a great goal from Edward) and then played in the final, losing 2-0 to Wellesbourne. The teams taking part were Moreton Morrell, Temple Herdewyke, Kineton Primary, The Dassett and Wellesbourne. Our team was jack, Louis, Charlotte and Codey (Year 6) and Edward, Harry and Max (Year 5). Special thanks to Onside Coaching for organising the tournament and to Fenny Compton FC for marking out the pitches and allowing us the use of the pavilion. We are very grateful for your support.
