A Classic Experience

On Monday afternoon at 2.30pm, some members of the Village Violin School went to St Mary’s Church in Warwick to attend a concert rehearsal, featuring the world renowned classical violinist Nicola Benedetti, who was performing with the Armonico Consort Choir and Orchestra (which includes Veronique the Village Violin School teacher). The children stayed for an hour, were the only people who had been invited and were privileged to see a ‘real life’ famous musician working.

Nicola Benedetti spoke to the children at the end and everyone was extremely impressed with how respectful and quiet our children were during the practice. I know this is something the children will remember forever and our thanks to Veronique for organising it and the parents who helped transport.
