  • The Dassett in Numbers - Exceeding National Standards

    Fri 03 Jan 2014
All of the data from July’s National SATs at Key Stage 1 (Year 2) and Key Stage 2 (Year 6) has been finalised by the DfE and we are delighted to report that:
At Key Stage 1 our Average Point Score in all subjects was significantly above the National Average in Reading and Maths and above the National Average in Writing.
At Key Stage 2 our Average Point Score was above National Average in Reading, Writing and Maths and significantly above at Level 5 or above in Maths and Writing.
This is worthy of celebration and is the highest Average Point Score for all subjects in each Key Stage over the past 4 and in some cases 5 years.
Also 100% of our pupil premium children achieved expected progress from KS1 to KS2 in Reading, Writing and Maths, which is above National Average.
It further demonstrates the superb teaching and learning being delivered and experienced at The Dassett on a daily basis and we should all feel very proud of our success.
