Our Non-Teaching Staff

Mrs. Claire Costine                          TA Reception, Paediatric First Aider,

This is my second year in Reception with Mrs Pounds  and I am looking forward to working with our wonderful children. It is very rewarding to help children develop through their first year at school.

Mrs Catherine Rendall                    Year 1 TA, Midday Supervisor

I am very excited about coming to work at The Dassett for  3 mornings a week until Christmas 2017! I have previously taught in Reception, Year One and Year Two and I have experience of supporting learning in Year Five. I am passionate about literacy and phonics - it is so rewarding helping children to read. When I'm not at school you may find me painting nails or shaping eyebrows in my other role as a beauty and massage therapist. For fun I love to read, cycle and have adventures with my husband and our two children, Adam and Nelly.

Mrs. Jo Gardner                              Year 3 TA, Midday Supervisor

I am very excited about returning to The Dassett School and working with the Year 2 class. During the past year I have gained valuable experience and I look forward to using this to help, encourage, motivate and challenge the children with their learning, allowing them to feel safe, supported and inspired to do their very best.

Mrs. Bec Griffiths                             Year 1 SEND Support

I work in Key Stage 2 and this year I am working across both Year 3 and Year 4. I enjoy art - the messier the better! and I also love helping children improve their reading skills.

Mrs Alison Ashton                           Year 4/5  SEND support

This will be my first term at The Dassett, for the last 13 years I have worked as a TA in a small, village primary school in Warwickshire. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, watercolour painting and baking cakes.

Mrs. Nicola Brice                             Year 2 and Year 6 TA, Midday Supervisor

I have worked at The Dassett School for over 12 years and have worked with all age groups. At present I am working in Years 5 and 6. I enjoy encouraging children to reach their full potential in all areas of the curriculum. I really like being involved in the end of year production - the 'drama', the props and the scenery.
